Arysha grew up in Harrow and moved to Hertfordshire in her teens. She is an actress and moved to London a few years ago for her BA in Acting at Arts Educational Schools where she is in her final year. She is based in Hammersmith and staying in London after her training. Arysha has a brilliant mix of childcare experience and has worked as a swimming teacher with children aged 3-16 years as well as a managing director (general childcare and organising activities) at Camp Beaumont. She also has a good understanding of the after school routine having worked as a babysitter and Summer Nanny for 3 children aged 5-9 years.
Arysha is very creative and loves writing, painting and playing the piano, so she is happy to help with any music practise. She also enjoys organising arts and crafts and is happy to get stuck into anything messy and inventive. She sat her maths GCSE 3 years early and got an A so she is very confident with maths and enthusastic about assisting with homework.
Arysha places importance on ensuring a fun, nurturing environment and always making sure to liten. We think she's going o be a great After School Nanny!
With over 6 years experience of working with children, I have gained some insight into creating a lesson in order to engage with any child I have worked with. Working with many children with a variety of special requirements, such as Autism, physical disabilities and ADHD, also allowed me to continue to develop and mold lessons to fit their needs while keeping a smile of their faces! Teaching swimming allowed me to work with a variety of types of children and create fun, interesting and interactive ways of learning. This alongside my Drama school training has always allowed me to bring games and play into any educational setting I have been placed in. When working for Camp Beaumont as head group leader, I was in charge of a group of 20-30 children aged around four to five years old. Every day my children would have something to take home to their parents to show what we’d learnt, and be able to articulate the reason behind what they’d done. I truly believe that creativity and imagination are the foundations of any child’s understanding of the world and should be the basis to any educational lesson. I have always loved working with children, I find the way they look at life fascinating and I’m constantly learning from them which allows my teaching to constantly grown and improve.
